Big K Float
This past thursday I did a reacon float of the Big K with my father and Dylan. We certainly found some fish! With a nice mixture of salmon, browns and bows! With the water temperatures dropping and the fish putting on the feed bags for this coming winter there isn't a better time to head out for some late fall action. The bigger fish where caught throwing streamers with sink tips to the banks but the majority of fish where caught nymphing in riffles and fast water areas.

New Water Equals Nice Fish
This week we decided to check out some new waters for some fall run fish and we found some nice fish!! Most fish came on white streamers which is pretty typical of salmon this time of year. In one pool we found some rising fish and managed to fool a few on dries which was pretty awesome this late in the season. Here are some pics of our adventures the last few days.

Fall!!
It's finally fall!! My favorite time of year, big fish all colored up, cool water and of course hunting. To me fall entitles hunting and fishing my brains out, putting huge miles on the truck and burning through boxes and boxes of shells. Hey you can sleep when your dead right?
This past week I put almost 500 miles on my truck and 8 miles on the drift boat in search of some colored up fall trout, And I wasn't dissapointed! Last week I had some of the best fishing I have ever had. One day landing 20 wild brook trout between 14 and 20 inches. Between two of us we caught over 40 akmost all of which where brook trout.
Sunday I floated Solon, It was a very windy and bright day making fishing tough, but a great day was had anyways.
Here are some pictures of some tubby trout from last week.
